Pre-seasoned and cured at high temperatures, the steel is ready to use out of the box and with use and time will continue to develop a patina to protect the steel further.
Designed for use beyond baking, the unique moat on the reverse side of the steel captures excess oil and fats preventing a mess in your oven or flare ups on the grill when cooking oiled vegetables or searing a steak. Plus, this baking steel absorbs heat and transfers it evenly, eliminating soggy centers and ensuring that your bakes are crispy and delicious every time.
