This bread lame is for scoring dough to control expansion of the loaf as it bakes and create a pattern in the baked bread. It easily scores raised dough without causing damage or unwanted compression; curved design under-cuts for more defined crust.

Made from 18/8 stainless steel with a wooden handle, it comes with15 double-edge dough scoring blades. It is perfectly balanced for precise control and accurate scoring; simply draw blade across dough before baking; reusable and refillable for thousands of uses.
