Assistant Manager 

E-Commerce Customer Service / Receiving

The e-commerce and receiving assistant manager is responsible for daily operations of receipt and processing of merchandise, stockroom maintenance and e-commerce retail platform including order fulfillment, product and inventory data integrity, and website maintenance. This role is actively involved with building our sales team and providing guidance and training necessary to provide exceptional customer service, with a particular focus on e-commerce and receiving.

Additional duties include:

  • Training and motivating sales associates in customer service, e-commerce sales, merchandise receiving operations, and stockroom upkeep and maintenance
  • Communicating to customer questions, handling returns, and complaints
  • Actively collaborating and coordinating with counter-part assistant managers, marketing, and website development team
  • Ongoing e-commerce maintenance of products, sales, fulfillment, shipping, and any other duties related to the online platform
  • Maintaining basic technical documentation
  • General technical trouble shooting of multiple systems including printers, network sharing, iPads, and iPhones
  • Manage cleaning and office supplies for the building


Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 1 year retail management experience and 1 year distribution, or logistics experience
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
  • Proficiency in maintaining financial record keeping
  • Attention to detail
  • Managing competing priorities
  • Physical requirements include being able to stand, walk, climb, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. There is frequent lifting and moving of up to 30lbs and occasional lifting and moving up to 50lbs. All employees must vacuum, clean the bathroom, and use a ladder.
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with retail POS database management
  • 1 year supervisory or management experience
  • Experience supporting CCTV security systems
  • Proficiency supporting Apple mobile technologies and applications
