Truth Sauce Bacon Roll-Ups Recipe
Ingredients:
2 packages of crescent rolls
1 lb thick sliced bacon (cooked)
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 green onions, sliced
¼ tsp. garlic powder
¼ c. Truth Sauce (Sweet Heat or BBQ Sauce)
Instructions:
To cook the bacon, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place a cooling rack on a rimmed baking sheet and place bacon on the cooling rack. Bake for 25 minutes for perfectly crisp and flat bacon.
While the bacon is cooking, melt butter in a skillet and add sliced green onions to sauté until softened. Sprinkle in your garlic powder and set aside to cool.
Roll out crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface and seal the seams. Once the butter/onion mixture is cooled, brush the mixture onto the dough and place the strips of bacon close to each other. Cut the dough between the bacon with a pastry cutter and roll up. Place on a sheet pan with the swirl facing up and brush with Truth Sauce.
Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
