Making candied lemon peels is so easy and they're a sweet little way to garnish desserts.They're also good to just pop in your mouth!
How to Make Candied Lemon Peel
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 1/4 cup sugar, divided
- 1 lemon, stripped (Or, as many as you'd like!)
Instructions:
- Bring water, sugar, and lemon strips to a boil. Continue to boil until the sugar dissolves and the lemon peels are translucent.
- Remove lemon peels and drain excess liquid as much as you can.
- Place peels in remaining 1/4th cup of sugar. Sprinkle sugar over all the peels to coat entirely.
- Remove the peels and let dry. Serve and enjoy!
Store candied lemon peels in an airtight container.
